System Requirements
McAfee SaaS Email solutions are truly a security service that resides outside your network, requiring no additional hardware, software or personnel resources to manage daily security operations. However, a company using McAfee SaaS Email filtering solutions will need to have its own mail domain, such as yourdomain.com, with a static IP address and a dedicated mail server, either in-house or hosted by an ISP. By simply redirecting the mail exchange (MX) record through the McAfee servers, mail traffic will be scanned quickly and easily - before entering or leaving your network - with less than a one-second delay in transit.
